PLANS IN ASTURIAS Activities
Saint John of the Sand
Just a short walk from your home in Asturias, the saltpeter perfumes the seaside streets and the port pulses with stories of canneries and sun-drenched nets.
Come for a leisurely stroll, watch the boats, and savor the day like the locals do. We're waiting for you at Las Mimosas del Nalón, so you can return with a smile on your face. We're a 10-minute walk away. P.S.: We recommend the trenches route, from where you can see the views in the photo ;-)

San Esteban de Pravia
Just across the street, San Esteban displays its historic cranes, its loading docks, and a promenade that feels like the sea. Climb the Espíritu Santo and let the Cantabrian Sea embrace you from the Path of the Viewpoints. Upon your return, your home awaits you at Las Mimosas del Nalón. These views will probably captivate you every morning and every evening ;-)
ROUTES
Cabo Busto Route
Cliffs, a lighthouse, and the sound of the sea marking the passage. Cabo Busto is Asturias in its purest form: wild coastline, clear horizons, and a calming silence. Set out with the wind in your face and return to rest at your home in Las Mimosas del Nalón.
We recommend you stop by the Cabo Busto bakery for a snack ;-)

Route of the Viewpoints
One of the routes you shouldn't miss is the Miradores Route.
The route begins practically in front of us. From the San Esteban lighthouse to the Espíritu Santo viewpoint, the Nalón and the Cantabrian Seas playfully teach each other. Just walk and breathe; you'll pass cliffs and beaches you'd never imagined, which you have to experience. A route to spend the day enjoying. And then return home to rest.

Coastal Towns: West
We are in love with the SEA and the MOUNTAINS, both in capital letters because both concepts reach one of their highest peaks in Asturias, dreamy villages and endless mountain ranges. But in this section, we're going to talk about coastal towns, which we recommend when you come visit us.
Perhaps the best known is Cudillero, and its reputation is well-deserved as a town turned towards the sea, although those of us who knew it with the old port may miss that part. But Asturias isn't just Cudillero and has countless towns that, for one reason or another, we recommend you visit:
To the west of Cudillero, we have a preference for Oviñana and the Vidío Lighthouse, which is a must-see; Cadavedo and its Regalina meadow; Busto and Busto Lighthouse, already in Valdés (and if you go on a Saturday afternoon, be sure to visit and taste the Cabo Busto pastries).

More coastal towns:
Luarca, the capital of the Valdés district, is a must-see for its cemetery (Severo Ochoa is buried here) with views of the sea and the Río Negro, the port, and its modernist-style houses.
One of our favorite towns is Puerto de Vega, an absolute marvel and a must-see for strolls through its streets and port.
To the west of Navia, in the Coaña district, we find one of those places we always recommend visiting: the San Agustín Lighthouse, an absolute marvel with breathtaking views.
In the Franco district, you can't miss Viavélez, a small fishing village with a beautiful port.
And Tapia de Casariego, which invites you to stroll, is a must-see. We recommend a lovely walk from the port to Anguleiro Beach, passing by the natural pool.
From Las Mimosas del Nalón you can plan your vacation and visit the hidden corners of Asturias.
